CBA Nord West was established in 2002, following the association of a number of 8 retail companies from this area of the country, in order to carry out joint purchases of goods and services. The activity started in a 2,000 square meter storage space; at that time, the company served, through direct distribution, a number of 300 stores in the counties of Satu Mare, Maramureș, Sălaj and Bihor. Since 2010, as a result of a massive capital infusion and shareholder restructuring, the company has been operating in a modern logistics center with a storage area of 6,500 square meters, of which 2,100 square meters are temperature-controlled warehouses.
C&C stores were opened in Satu Mare in 2013, Arad in 2015, Oradea in 2016 and Cluj Napoca in 2021. Following these openings, the number of employees also increased significantly to over 200. At the same time, through the distribution activity, the approximately 3,000 SKUs delivered from the logistics platform in Satu Mare can be found on the shelves of more than 300 stores in the counties of Arad, Bihor, Cluj, Maramureș, Mureș, Satu Mare, Sălaj and Timiș.
