The Country Life ecological center has been operating in Nenačovice near Beroun since 2003. It includes the company’s headquarters, a sample store, an organic bakery, an eco-farm and a packing house, and until recently also a wholesale warehouse. The eco center was created by rebuilding a former cowshed into a low-energy building and adding a new part, the so-called Ark, which has the parameters of a passive house. This is the first passive house built in the Czech Republic.
